Jo O’Dea, Legal Counsel

Jo has more than 15 years legal experience in corporate litigation, alternative dispute resolution and business affairs. She began her career in New Zealand advising parties on contractual dispute matters and building a mediation practice that facilitated the resolution of complex business disputes.

In the late 1990s, Jo served as in-house counsel for a British-based alternative energy company, establishing their New York office and running their legal operations during the company’s start-up phase. She negotiated employment, technology and sales agreements in the US and Europe and was instrumental in the group’s efforts to address many of today’s environmental challenges through the adaptation of renewable energies.

Jo is admitted to both the New Zealand and New York bars.
